Back to School with AI: A Playlist for Educators
Some of the resources that have inspired me and guided my work with schools
In honor of the many people returning to school this month, I’ve put together a playlist of generative AI resources. In addition to selecting a few posts from this newsletter that I think could be helpful, I’ve gathered a number of resources by others that I have returned to over and over again since I began working with schools on AI a year ago. Because this is a busy time, I focused on short, meaningful, and accessible pieces.
I hope you use this playlist to deepen both your knowledge of generative AI and the conversations you have with colleagues and students about it. And, I hope that if you know of wonderful resources that are not here, you’ll share them in the comments below.

I’ll be co-facilitating “Educational Leadership in the Age of AI” with Christina Lewellen and Shandor Simon at the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) annual conference in Boston, MA, USA, on November 20.
Online Workshops
In partnership with the California Teachers Development Collaborative (CATDC), I’m facilitating “Making Sense of AI,” an introductory workshop for educators, on October 15.
Also with CATDC, I’m leading a four-part online series called “Deepening our AI Practice” for educators who already have a working knowledge of generative AI. Starts October 31.
